Adaptive streaming goes up to 8K (including 8K DCI), at 10-bit colour and 60 fps on every resolution. The player measures each viewer's connection and switches between them as they watch, so the video starts fast and keeps playing without buffering on phones and slow connections. Viewers who prefer can pick a resolution from the quality menu, and the original file is always kept and stays as a fallback.
The Free plan plays the original file exactly as uploaded, with no streamable versions. Upgrade and new uploads are converted automatically, and videos you have already uploaded can be converted from the dashboard.

Publishing a film is free, and so is watching one. There is no plan to pick and nothing to pay until a film is sold or rented. Only then Vidreno takes a flat 10% of the price before tax, plus the payment processor's fee, and the rest is yours.
