Free Jump follows Ahmed and his friends, a parkour team from Gaza. Moving through the ruins of their neighbourhoods, they reclaim spaces devastated by war, creating a powerful portrait of friendship, creativity, movement and defiance. Filmed over three years under extraordinarily difficult circumstances, Free Jump is also a testament to the determination and creativity of the young people behind it. Through parkour and filmmaking, they continue to develop their skills, pursue their passions and create something meaningful, refusing to allow the destruction surrounding them to define who they are. At a time when Gaza’s story is so often told by Western media, institutions and content creators reporting from a distance, Free Jump highlights the importance of prioritising voices from the ground. It offers a perspective shaped not only by the realities of war, but by the personalities, friendships, talents and ambitions of those living through it. By renting the film, you are directly supporting the young athletes and filmmakers behind it, helping them continue to develop their creative work and tell their own stories.
